Motivational Visions and Purpose Incorporated (MVP Inc.) was founded by a husband and wife team who were both teachers in Title 1 schools. The couple had been working in education for several years and had noticed a significant gap in the support provided to low-income families and their children. They observed that many of their students were facing a myriad of challenges outside of the classroom that made it difficult for them to focus on their studies and succeed in school.

Determined to make a difference, the couple decided to create MVP Inc., a non-profit organization aimed at providing resources and support to the entire family. Their vision was to create stable communities by offering a range of services, including after-school programs, tutoring, mentoring, counseling, and job training for parents.
